Outside of the obvious of this being disgusting for children, it seems like a lot of extra effort than just making a plate of nuggets and fries.

The appeal of the first one was that it was absurd but fun to watch and became a cult type of classic. Nobody thinks it was an Oscar winner. It's not really a remake type of movie.

I worked in the NHL from 2000-2014; it was a tough business for small market teams, even those with good attendance. I don't mind criticism, but the salary cap was a game-changer and generally very positive. Posting nonsense and misleading data is just selfish and doesn't help.
I am launching a 7 part series this week on sliding attendance issues in all of live events, reasoning and strategies to address. The first article today covers how a lack of scarcity is the driving factor.

The Penguins Web site in 1996 had a page where you could e-mail the coaches.
I'm fairly certain it was just a mechanism to build up a list of e-mails for ticket sales.
Still, the idea you could e-mail Rick Kehoe to complain about the power play is amazing.
MLB loses $94 million in ticket revenue? It is not a quick fix.
Years of overpricing and creating supply while driving down demand. Not just MLB but the industry pushed out its best customers in fear of FOMO of ticket revenue.

So basically, they saw people selling on the secondary market, want the money & think raising bulk upfront purchase pricing creates same model? How many times do we have to make this mistake. A few cancels throws the model off & when people can’t resell due to supply they cancel.
Jazz upper bowl season ticket holders are reporting that they've received an email today announcing big $ increases for 19-20. $6-$12 tickets have gone to $15, $18 tickets up to $30. Looks like some sections have moved around, too, so some unlucky STH are going from $12 to $30.

Odd, because if they are in your app, they should be yours as it is an account. It is possible that it was a venue error too. Being resold last week is kind of irrelevant. They could be resold 1,000 times prior, if they are your account, you own them at that point.

It was awful. You just waited the entire slow movie to find out what was going on and it ended (spoiler) with some annoying girl watching Friends.

One issue not discussed is a lot of fans (not brokers) are having even more trouble selling unused tickets to offset their upfront costs. If you look at the data, there could be a larger long-term effect with supply. Expect more season ticket cancels.
I have been in ticketing on primary, secondary and premium for 20 years (old man). I know every site and every detail. And despite that experience buying 4 tickets to a game is literally the most maddening experience in existence besides watching This is Us

They were not scared. Ironically, they have a deal (with a company they partially own) to distribute to secondary sites, including lucrative playoffs, as the regular season can be risky.
They can give 2,000 away, thus driving up secondary prices more, which they get a piece of

The Taylor Swift lack of sellouts is another interesting example. I think it will be fine but pricing CAN NOT be based off of higher costs you see on secondary. Those $'s only work if there is a sellout already and are not representative of the actual market. Common mistake.
It is not a fan-base issue. Consolidate resale tickets, fewer season ticket holders, and distribute the playoffs at a larger scale with fewer packages sold.

I see an opportunity here! I go to Wendy's at 4:30 pm every day and buy 200 cheeseburgers for $2.00 each. This will inflate the algorithm, creating $3.00 cheeseburgers at the store while I sell them for $2.50 in the parking lot.

Usually I have the town plan fireworks and a parade for our anniversary but because of Covid I couldn’t this year.
Cheaper tickets, distribute (sell) as many as possible as early as possible, manage brokers w/ multiple accounts to minimize risk for each, take the handcuffs off digital content to drive brand and remember that more exposure on TV drove attendance, did not hinder it
