yo. save up $3-4k and quit your job. seriously
that money could easily last you 6 months if you're wise with it.
6 MONTHS of 12-16 hours of free time, every. single. day.
that is damn near long enough to get really fucking good at something.
what're you afraid of?
@kfc
@BeyondMeat
lmao @ all the incredibly mad non-vegans in the comments here
you'd think kfc just announced that they're replacing everything on the menu with tufts of grass
We look forward to welcoming

the anti sampling stuff has big “rap isn’t technically music” energy in that I’ve yet to see a single real argument. they just state their opinion as fact and keep doubling down with more garbage opinions as if they’re making a good case for their position.
EXTREME: Royal Caribbean is planning for what it calls the longest and most comprehensive world cruise ever. Passengers will be onboard the Serenade of the Seas for 274 nights - that's nine months!
Super excited to finally get this out: my first sample pack!
I've created and curated 35 loops for yall to play with here.
This one's focused on drums and synth/key loops, with varying degrees of effects and processing, spanning lots of different vibes and sonic spaces

Depression + anxiety really made me forget how to live life for a while. I’m doing so much better this year, but it still feels like I’m relearning how to be a human being. If you’re going through similar stuff, try and hang in there. Things can always change. You’re not hopeless
Very excited to announce my next album, Time’s Not Real

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand lo-fi. The sampling is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of jazz history most of the tunes will go over a typical viewer’s head
the funniest thing to me is that these lofi kids are still making the same old boring ass beat over and over pretending that shit's not background noise
I turn 25 today and was planning on dropping my next project, but I've got bigger plans for this one... more on that soon
In the meantime this album turns a year older with me. Thanks for listening everyone
My brand new instrumental album, Time's Not Real, is here! Didn't think that name would be so apt these days, I hope this makes quarantine a little easier for ya

I’ll be 25 in September and dealing with trauma, depression, and anxiety got me feelin like I’m just beginning to live my life
On the bright side, I feel like since I’ve made it this far I can do anything now that I’m in a much better situation
do not ask me for mixing advice
I sit in ableton twisting knobs on the eq til I get to angel numbers that sound good and let compression sort the rest out
everyone's bedroom studio looks the same these days. pristine racks of gear, bisexual lighting, maybe some healthy looking plants
I'm gonna make my space look like the Blair Witch room
South African bassist Bakithi Kumalo gave a clinic where I work!
he’s played with all kinds of folks but he’s most well known for his work on Paul Simon’s Graceland album
