@RiseFallNick
For some reason, the show LOVED doing spoofs of Teletubbies, probably because it aired on the same channel as Arthur in the United States (PBS) and Canada (TV Ontario).
@EzenBaklattan
Don't forget Chicken Run being promoted at Burger King with chicken products despite the message of the film being to not eat chicken, or sponges shaped in SpongeBob's likeness, including a makeup sponge and a SpongeDaddy!
Gotta cash in on PAW Patrol's popularity in Japan...(yes, PAW Patrol is so big in Japan they get theatrical releases of the DTV movies and Happy Meals of the show...)
For those who are mad that SpongeBob won, keep in mind that this "awards rigging" thing has been going on for at least 21 years. Check out what happened when Pokémon was a nominee!

This is like Bart's "Eat my shorts!" "Cowabunga" and "I'm Bart Simpson, who the hell are you?" catchphrases. All of these were said once or twice in the series but became catchphrases via merchandising.
@Paperking_real
Even sadder? She was actually on the way to a taping of another show she was on, 15/Love, with another actor from the same show, who also passed in the same accident.
@BladeRaisor
I remember reading a story that she cried attempting to sing a song for All Dogs Go To Heaven due to her family life, and nobody bothered to ask her what was wrong. If I was in that situation, I would've asked her about the problems she was facing.
Name a cartoon you wish got more attention in the wider audience.
Doraemon is popular all over the world, but didn't become big in North America and the UK. If only it aired on regular Disney Channel and Cartoon Network, respectively....
Name a cartoon you wish got more attention in the wider audience.
This one's very underrated and ran for a great amount of episodes in a quick time, too. How did Hasbro release 104 22-min episodes in just almost half a decade?! That's impressive.
@Squiddayyyy
And by the way, yes, this thing is currently happening with shows from the mid-2010's. I've already seen those sorts of "remember this?" videos with Nina Needs To Go! and Nature Cat.
Happy 31st Anniversary to the Hershey’s Kisses Christmas commercial, Christmas Bells! (1989) I’ll never know the actual day it first aired besides the year, 1989. Whatever day that was, I love this commercial a lot.

For 90's/early 2000's kids:
-Talking animals that act like elementary schoolers
-A magic antique store where the toys and the shopkeeper's pet talk
-Two guys with a talking lemur
-A lion family that runs a library
-Airplanes with human faces
-Cats living in China

TeenNick Executive A: So, PBS Kids is celebrating the 10th anniversary of Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood. What a major milestone! We should do something to compete with it.
TeenNick Executive B: Let's have a marathon of our most popular show!
TeenNick Executive A: You're a genius!
@Animated_Antic
Another famous example is the "All i want is what I have coming to me" line in A Charlie Brown Christmas. Apparently the actress playing Sally had trouble reading that line, so that's why it sounds stitched together.

Here's the translation:
I will obey the traffic rules
TEEN TITANS!
I will eat everything without likes or dislikes
TEEN TITANS!
Earthquakes, lightning, fire, Dad
Grammar, Math, Science, Social Studies
There is nothing I am afraid of
TEEN TITANS, GO!
@strangepacks_
I work retail, and more commonly see kids watching Cocomelon than PAW Patrol (though the merchandise for the latter sells well at our store).
@cringeTLHDAart
He was making a good point, until he insulted SpongeBob for causing him to lose the KCAs. To quote Donkey Hodie at the Kids and Family Emmys, "Being nominated is already amazing on its' own, and I'm really proud of everybody!".
mlptwt quote this tweet saying some trivia about the mlp (all gens) that maybe not everyone knows!!
— can talk about the show, the characters, the production, fandom’s things… be creative.
@thejonbutter
2000 Grinch had the strength to pick up an entire Christmas tree and throw it across his classroom as an eight-year-old.
Meanwhile, the 2018 Grinch was related to Gru's family somehow or was a fanboy of his due to his cosplay of Gru, while his dog was a Lou Vega fan.
@BovineBonita
What about the time SpongeBob aired on an anime channel in Japan? (It's currently on NHK, but I couldn't find a screencap with their logo).
For something more light-hearted in the wake of the September 11th attacks, here's a fun fact about that day: many PBS stations, including the satelite feed of the network, ran kids' programming as late as 7PM to provide entertainment to kids to comfort them.
@thecartooncrave
Guys, this practice has been happening for at least 22 years. When Pokémon got nominated, Rugrats won despite the Pokémon anime being one of the highest-rated kid shows of 1999:

Wishes are endless
Teen Titans, go!
1, 2, 3, 4, 5, Teen Titans!

These people also make [BAD USER] (insert situation here) videos, and those can be ridiculous. One I remember showed someone destroying a Barney DVD, followed by Aloysius Pig saying "That's an act of agression!".
@NotLemres
The Japanese Disney Twitter did the same thing on the 70th anniversary of the Nagasaki bombings. They showed a picture of Alice holding a birthday cake accompanied by their translation of "A very merry unbirthday to you", which is "Happy Nothing Special Day".
@TristanACooper
Garfield and Friends also had this happen when it was released to Boomerang. Not only did things get cropped and stretched like it did here, lost tape elements were done in "retrovision", the theme is reanimated and at least one sequence is too. (

Actually, people complained about a poorly-timed ad during the fashion show episode of Hugtto! that said "For girls, Hugtto! Pretty Cure and for boys, Kamen Rider Build!"...right after a scene in which Cure Yell said boys can be princesses.
As I opened Amazon Prime Video today, I noticed this being advertised in the PBS Kids section. Yes, Amazon's PBS Kids subscription service picked up The Not Too Late Show with Elmo after HBO Max dropped it!
