It has nothing to do with this. As explained in a magazine interview earlier this year, Toei specifically said they took precautions to make sure editing was significantly easier for International markets, and a cost of this was removing majority of the blood from the series.

@amina__danlami @RidiculousDak Something to note that if a dog does get into anything in the "nope" category, you're usually fine if it's a small amount. Happens. But if it's a relatively bigger amount (especially comparable to the size of the dog), definitely don't hesitate to call a vet just to be safe.
