I did the Sydney Trail Series 21km run at Manly Dam yesterday and I underestimated how much harder trail runs can be than road runs, but I finished my first trail run and my first actual half marathon and I’m kinda proud of myself because I was running 2 to 3kms a year ago.

Project Standing Desk is complete. Pretty happy with how it turned out. 1.8m surface so heaps of space to spread out. Waxed the surface because it’s oak, but left the legs raw because the pine will age and darken and get a bit of patina hopefully.

Finishing off restoring this very old ex-south African park bench. Each leg is +- 25kg of cast iron, and the hardwood came up a treat. into storage for a few months then it’s new home will be in the shade under a *very* big tree. They really don’t make stuff this solid any more.
