@roisiningle Apparently Ireland in general is 83% more expensive. I’m living in Lisbon. Monthly rent for room with office is €380 a month (all bills included). To eat out on average is under €10 including wine. A cab most places anywhere in the city is between €2-5 - outer city max €10

What a day! I've literally spent today chatting to some of my idols. Life long dreams came through today. Such exciting times to come for women in Ireland who are creating music. After more than a decade of being rejected & told no, I genuinely feel the tides are turning 🌊🌊🌊

We at @whynotherire want to know why incredible Irish female artists who receive peak airtime allocation on some of the biggest shows in Radio in the U.K. are denied the same platforms and support as their male peers in Ireland. It makes no sense.

To this day Mar 5th, Irish radio has only played the Irish Eurovision Entry song 'Doomsday Blue' by Bambie Thug 162 times. (Rte 2fm only played the song 9 times). Make it make sense. The track could be something Billie Eilish put out. They are such a huge talent.

Hard to believe the audacity of these new rules of NO live music being allowed in Ireland. It’s built into the fabric of our culture. Needless to say with no end in sight, can we hear more Irish artists on TV & Radio please. With gender parity and diversity at the forefront.

Only 3 % of the Top 100 Songs on Irish raido in 2023 were by Irish female Artists. 3%, including 1 legend we lost a few years ago. So thats only 2 living Irish women in music featured. Yet still no official policy that is in place is being adhered to by the playlisters of
