After sweating, the pores close back up, similar to flexing a muscle. 🔥

1/ Get 15 Minutes of Sun Exposure
It is important to expose your skin to sunlight for at least 15 minutes in the morning. It’s a mood-booster, and your skin will benefit from Vitamin D.
The morning sun will also properly set your circadian rhythm, so you are more alert.
3/ Take a Probiotic
Gut health plays a massive role in the state of our skin health.
The gut-skin axis refers to this physical connection, and by taking care of the gut with a healthy, well-rounded diet, and contributing good bacteria, you can ensure your complexion glows.
Esoteric Skin Tip:
☀️Get 15 minutes of Sunlight Exposure in the morning.☀️
The Vitamin D from the sun will benefit your skin and also act like a mood booster.
5 tips for getting better sleep:
1) Avoid blue light & electronics before bedtime
2) Avoid caffeine after Noon
3) Lower the temp in your bedroom
4) Use a sleep mask
5) Buy high-quality bedding
4/ Use the Sauna
Sweating is like a powerful workout for your skin. When we sweat, our pores open up, and can practice excreting dirt, oil, and bacteria with sweat. After sweating, the pores close back up, similar to flexing a muscle.
2) Nutrition is fundamental
Better skin health demands an investment in thinking about your health holistically. Your skin health is reflective of your overall health. Full stop.
You should be eating plenty of saturated fats: beef, lamb, eggs, oysters, bone broth, etc.
Getting Divine Skin goes far beyond using topical products in the bathroom.
True skin health comes from practicing healthy habits for your physical and mental wellbeing everyday.
2/ Eat Real Foods
Diet plays a massive role in your skin health. If you eat processed foods loaded with refined sugars and seed oils, you’re likely to develop chronically oily skin and break out.
Stick to whole, all-natural, and unprocessed foods that are rich in proteins.
The problem with many topical products being advertised to you is that they are only reactively treating the skin issue you are experiencing, not proactively working to prevent these skin issues from arising in the first place.
5/ Change Your Pillowcase
Our pillowcase is carrying all of that drool, sweat, and bacteria from our deep slumbers. Ensure you’re changing that pillowcase weekly to avoid breaking out.
6/ Stay Hydrated
If you’re dehydrated, your skin will likely look dry and dull. Avoid chronic dryness by drinking plenty of water throughout the day. Overcompensate hydration when you work out or drink alcohol or caffeine.
To support this, we created our own probiotic supplement.
Our Fountain of Youth Supplement is a 5-strain probiotic blend, specifically optimized to improve men’s skin and promote a vibrant complexion.
Using the sauna regularly will help to regulate your oils levels as well if you struggle with oily skin.
Pro-Tip: Opt for 20 minute rounds in the sauna three times a week for maximum benefit.
Shower and clean you skin immediately after the session is over.
Improve sleep quality by:
- Not eating (or drinking) 3 hours prior to sleep - digestion demands energy from your body and a sound gut leads to better sleep quality.
- Get to bed at the same hour: consistency lets your body find its natural rhythm.
- Get morning sunlight
Add minerals like sodium, magnesium, and potassium to your water to ensure you are properly hydrated.
Avoid tap water if you can and opt for either spring water or purified water.
To combat this, we put together our list of the 10 best skincare tips that will give you healthy, radiant skin that you deserve to have.
Trust us, if you implement the tips on this list, the results will follow.
7/ Clean your skin after workouts
We are big fans of sweating and exercise here at Disco, however – a post-sweat can result in a lot of bacteria, oil, and gunk lingering on your skin.
Ensure you cleanse after a hard workout or a big sweat.
How our founder,

✅PRP or Exosome Micro Needling
Have you tried any of these?
Parabens wreck your T-levels, gentlemen. They're also included in most skincare products on the market. Here's a list to look out for:
- Butylparaben
- Propylparaben
- Methylparaben
- Isobuytlparaben

8/ Wear Sun Protection
It’s essential to wear sunscreen and protect your skin from the harmful effects of UV light and sun damage. Always apply an SPF product in the morning to protect your skin – even if you’ll be inside all day!
As much as these whole, real foods support beautiful skin, the foods to avoid may be even more important:
1) Highly processed, refined sugars
2) Refined Polyunsaturated Fats (or Seed Oils)
3) Refined grains / foods high in gluten
We created our Face Cleanser Stick to be a great travel & gym companion. Simply throw it in your gym bag and use a swipe or two after getting your lift in for soft, smooth, and nourished skin.
The skin can still be affected by light through a window, or from our phone and computer screens.
Mineral sunscreens do not use synthetical chemicals and are safer for your skin.
Our Disco Mineral Sun Block uses Zinc Oxide.
1) Sleep hygiene is key 🔑
Your hormonal regulation begins and ends with the quality of sleep you are able to get every night. Over the last century, we've lost on average 1 hour of sleep.
Gua Sha is an ancient Chinese healing technique for the skin.
It has been shown to:
✅Increase skin tightness
✅Activate Blood circulation
✅Reduce muscle tension
Have you tried it?
9/ Don’t Smoke
If this is your sign to quit – take it! Smoking breaks down skin cells over time, leading to premature aging, wrinkles, fine lines, and dark spots on the skin. Avoid second-hand smoke too, which can affect the skin.
You drink coffee in the mornings to wake up. We use a caffeine infused Repairing Under Eye Stick in the mornings to brighten our skin, reduce dark circles and puffiness, and feel fresh as a damn daisy.
We are not the same.
5 simple skincare hacks:
1) Wash your face twice daily
2) Apply moisturizer after cleansing
3) Drink lots of water
4) Wear mineral sunblock
5) Get decent sleep
10/ Avoid Touching Your Face
Avoid skin picking and touching your face with your fingers. We carry thousands of bacteria on our hands throughout the day and touching our face risks infecting our pores.
This sounds simple but has a crazy high ROI.
We personally recommend eating "Real Foods" that are single-ingredient and found in the outer aisles of the grocery. They are:
✅Meat
✅Fish
✅Eggs
✅Fruits
✅Vegetables

Avoiding saturated fat WILL degrade your skin health in the long run. Omega-3 fats play a critical role in cellular health & support healthy hormonal function in the body.
Cholesterol also plays a critical role in your bodies hormone health.
Parabens are known as what's called an "endocrine disruptor" (meaning it interferes with your hormone production).
These compounds have been in our skincare products since the 1920s, and people are just waking up to the damage they've done to our health.
3) Skin care
You've mastered your sleep and nutrition.
Time to address your skin care routine. Habit formation is hard, so let's start small. Start here:
1) Face cloth
2) Simple cleanser
3) Natural moisturizer
Basic hygiene does not need to be a heroic task. Start small.
Those oils are extremely pervasive in western diets as cooking oils and hidden in things like sauces, dressings, marinades, chips, cookies and crackers.
We recommend cooking your meals with the following fats / oils instead
Tallow
Ghee
Grass-Fed Butter
Olive Oil
Avocado Oil
4) Get more sun exposure (yes, you heard us correctly)
The sun is your bodies best friend and a natural source of Vitamin D.
You can overdo your sun exposure if you aren't used to it, so be mindful and gradually build up your sun exposure over time.
In addition, the quality of cooking oil / fat you are using matters.
Studies have shown a strong association between industrial seed oils high in omega-6 fats and increased inflammation and acne.
We recommend cutting those oils out immediately.
