So, PMJT is spending too much on travel, huh? For trips he is going on for diplomatic reasons? Cool, cool, cool. How do you explain that you’ve spent more than $20,000 more than he has in the last three months? What diplomatic missions have you been on? What
Once again, rural Alberta holds the cities hostage with their regressive, ignorant votes. And Smith and the UCP will begin breaking election promises in 3, 2, 1…
Talked to a coworker today about CPP today. Explained about how CPP is among the best investment organizations in the world. Talked to her about how the UCP took the teacher pension without consultation, and how AIMCO (the likely candidate for an APP) immediately lost a bunch
That sound you hear? That’s the sound of social workers in Alberta slamming the door behind them as they either quit or move to another province. Just when we need them the most.
Hey

Perhaps you can explain to Albertans why, on a day 41 deaths from Covid and the highest hospitalizations in the pandemic were announced, you were retweeting fakeD pictures of empty store shelves and support for anti-vax truckers? Instead of support for Alberta’s
Did anyone in Alberta hear about when Covid boosters will be administered? And to whom? Went to the AHS site, but the link is broken. You know, just like the UCP.

You know who votes? Old people. My mom and her friends, all in their 70s and 80s hate you and everything you stand for. They will be voting in two years, and no amount of fireworks is going to make up for your treatment of the health professionals they rely on.

Tamara Lich BROKE THE TERMS OF HER BAIL. You’re saying it’s OK to do that? Whether she was wrongfully arrested in the 1st place is beside the point - she was clearly told what not to do when released, and she broke those rules. You don’t get to decide which rules you comply with.
Hey
@ABDanielleSmith
How about you take that 7.5 billion you’re spending on your Alberta Pension Plan propaganda tantrum to pay pharmacists to give us our flu and Covid shots?
Back from Twitter jail. It appears something I said offended someone - I'm thinking a certain UCP a staffer who was attacking teachers last night. Told him teachers would be remembered long after his political career was dead in 2023. Could have been the eff bombs.
Why I don’t hold out a lot of hope that the UCP will lose the next election, despite the complete dumpster fire they’re turning this province into…. a 🧵.

Believe people’s actions. The Cons have told us very clearly with their votes who and what they consider important. It’s not children, not families, not veterans, not the poor. If elected, the Cons will impose laws that hurt these people.
I’ve finally made the decision that it’s time to put my sweet dog down. She’s 18 years old and I’ve had her since she was 4 months. She’s going to leave the biggest hole in my heart, but she’s ready to go. I can’t imagine how quiet my house is going to be…

I seriously believe that my wearing a mask is a reminder of two things - first, that the pandemic is not, in fact, over, and second, that they are in the wrong and selfish for not wearing one themselves. It’s hard to be confronted with reality for some people.

Next time, try, “You know that the government wanted us to take our masks off so they could use their facial recognition programs in us, right?”

1000%. People who loudly use profanity in a public space (written, verbal, etc) should understand that there will be people who don’t want to do business with them as a result. Professional conduct is required by anyone I employ.
I am beyond angry about this. I am also very fearful. I am one year from retirement, and I would have socked away a lot more money if I had realized 30 years ago that a government could steal my pension. BTW - my pension is my deferred salary, and it is MINE.

As a Canadian, I couldn’t tell you if our PM was a church-goer or an atheist. This American hyper-Christianity in government just baffles most Canadians.
The UCP are busy returning the money they’ve cut over the past four years, money for AISH, police, etc. promising caps on insurance and gasoline. But if they get elected again, those dollars and caps will disappear again. This is their MO. Don’t let them get away with it.
doctors, nurses, teachers? The families of the people who died? A pro-vaccine message? Instead of, basically, LEADING Albertans through this difficult time, you were seeking to ingratiate yourself with the anti-vax crowd and score political points off of Trudeau.
