“The terror of the normal” just when things are getting normal, the Right comes along and screws it up. Life’s like that sometimes. Kootenaygreg on Bluesky too
Just talked to a neighbour. I had to explain Provincial mandates. He though the PM was forcing people to get vaccinated. I believe whomever has been spreading this b.s. is winning.
I believe the EA has to be passed so that all the subsequent investigations can proceed. If it isn’t passed, then these investigations stop. There appears to be a lot of pressure from the Right to stop the EA. What are they hiding?
A lot of boomers are stuck in houses. They can’t go into LTC’s because a) they want independence & b) they cost a fortune a month. Somehow we have to make affordable retirement villages that aren’t expensive and free up all those houses.
The problem with the Carbon Tax for the 7 Premiers is not the Tax. They have no problems raising taxes. The issue is the rebates go straight to Canadians without going to them first. Like all money meant for programs, they want to decide when to dish it out.
I applaud
@yfblanchet
for answering this in English. He is shining a light on Poilievre’s game with Canadians & M Blanchet is obviously fed up. Go back to the meetings with Canada Proud Pierre
Somehow people think we have Stand Your Ground laws in Canada and that legal gun owners use handguns for protection. Danielle Smith is telling her Province that they have a handgun tradition. Albertans, how many times have you seen a citizen walking around with a gun on hip?
Canada has a population of just over 40 million. If 17 million died, from just the vaccines, we’d notice. Sorry Dr Theo, back to your research machine.
Oil is at $75 per barrel today. Yet gasoline prices here are $1.52 a litre today. A couple of years ago when oil was at $75, gas prices were at $1.20. Why are you yelling at PM?

Enough, it’s not PMJT’s fault there is a pandemic, it’s not his fault the Saudi’s are trying to wreck the Oil industry & its not his fault your neighbours bought all the toilet paper
Canadian Media is a joke. The armed intruder to Rideau Hall apparently was a great sausage maker + extremely part time terrorist. CBC has 4 headlines stories on

and Theo Fleury as an expert on Student employment
After asking his deep question on Rent, Pierre Poilievre saw Sean Fraser stand to answer and he bolted for the door. He was faster than Josh Hawley running from J6 Tourists
Freedumb tells D Stephenson he’s on a live feed & D gives info to the protesters that he’s privy to. D Stephenson never thought the chud would post it to social media
Thought about this…the Prime Minister is driving the CPC nuts. He was dealt the same cards as trump and handled SarCov2 a hell of a lot better. The CPC took awhile to pick a side and they came up anti-CERB. The economy didn’t fail. 1/
If the government kills the carbon tax now, as the media and Poilievre want, as well as the polls. How long before people start whining about that deposit they got, that they no longer get, and everything costs the same?
Pierre has been telling us that Canada is broken since Trudeau has been Prime Minister. I wonder if that brokenness applies to Galen Weston, the Irvings, the Thompsons, the O’Learys and all the other millionaires and billionaires who have done quite well in the last 8 years?
Disappointed that the PM dressed up in a costume in 2001. But I am not disappointed enough to vote for a Party that has racists, bigots & homophobes who have voiced their beliefs more recently than 2001.
AndrewScheer is considering recrimiinalizing marijuana, making the NRA subsidiary the overseer of weapons in Canada, fiddling with the CPP, healthcare & education, along with reopening abortion policies. Are these things the majority of Canadians consider worthy of voting for?
Older guy, at least 60, blurted out that forestry issues in BC are Trudeau’s fault. He’s originally from Saskatchewan and said PMJT has been screwing him since he was 5! He then started the ‘if I had a gun’- told him to shut up.
Pierre Poilievre has claimed on four separate occasions that electricians are capturing “lightning from the sky” and running it through a copper wire to power lightbulbs.
Jason Kenney came to visit our office, when he was our minister. He came through and made instant decisions without knowing the background. I have no respect for him. He’s the smartest guy in the room, even when he knows SFA

It was a national story. Their bubble was in denial, so it didn’t float around their curated ‘research spaces’ until there was an approved narrative.
Did Jody Raybould Wilson, introduce her friends the Kinsellas to her friend Elizabeth May? Why is Elizabeth May helping Jody in Vancouver-Granville and leaving a GPC candidate to fend for herself?
I am getting confused, Alberta has a Ministry of Red Tape Reduction, the most Ministers of any Alberta Government and now they’re going to micro manage Edmonton and Calgary? Is this Libertarian Freedom Fascism? The freedom part appears to be the the province’s ability to meddle
The F Trudeau movement started about the time he settled with Khadr. Khadr had won in Court under Harper, but and Kenney refused to settle up. So Trudeau did it, the article covers it.
Harper left a lot of land mines for the Liberal Government. FIPA - so China can meddle in our affairs; Kadhr - the Court told

to do something, they did nothing; sale of war machines to KSA, with high cancellation cost; the F35’s - which are a disaster; SNC & deferred pros.
A pro gun guy goes to Trinidad and kills three members of his family with a gun he illegally smuggled from Canada, a week ago. Our media is too busy cleaning the sand out of their shoes to notice.
What if it snows? What if Poilievre cancels the carbon tax? What if Tesla opens a plant? What if Premier Ford shuts down EV’s again? The face of

I went down a rabbit hole this morning. The start was a person saying the CP was a Ponzi scheme. So I checked their followers and who they were following (both under 30). Over half of who they followed were Bitcoin accounts - I blocked all of them. Now I know where they
Covid is communism? The people that skipped social studies are now experts on political systems. They’re also brave enough to walk around with a sign saying this, in Toronto.
The Manning Centre paid a third party group to lie to Canadians on when the election was. Now the Manning Centre is in favour of breaking Canada up - two days before Remembrance Day.

The main difference is the reduction of taxes for the upper class. This occurred in the 1980’s with Reaganomics, the rich were supposed to trickle down on the middle and lower class. They took the extra money and bought homes overseas and stored money in tax havens
