Journalists should not be paid by the government This is a deep & obvious conflict of interest that should concern anyone with common sense CBC is a management-heavy waste of taxpayers’ money with dismal ratings Defund CBC & save $1.2 billion per year

Attacking the media is undemocratic and anti-freedom of expression. Another page out of the disastrous Trump administration’s playbook. As politicians, we are never immune to criticism from the media. Poilievre should know this, since it’s the only job he’s ever had.

No more taxpayers’ money for media outlets. If you like a newsroom’s work, you can pay for it, or advertising can do so.

Now it's oil & gas AND mining eh? Everything this lady is wearing & holding was either made of or by oil & gas using materials that were mined, & then trucked to her using oil & gas, on roadways paved with oil product. Even the banknote is polymer. Adults need to get a grip.

Calgary Skyview MP @ChahalGeorge just voted against giving his constituents a break on their home heating bills ❄️ The average household in Calgary in his riding will now have to cough up an extra $300 this winter to heat their home with natural gas or propane Very disappointed

This is a terrible idea. How can Trudeau possibly think that a Grocery Tax will make groceries cost less?? Taxes make things cost more.

Here's Trudeau threatening a grocery tax. "We are not ruling anything out, including tax measures." Everyone knows what that means. A grocery tax.

If you're wincing at the soaring cost of groceries, you can do 3 things: 1) STOP voting for politicians pushing carbon taxes. 2) STOP voting for politicians who are spending like a drunken frat party. 3) TELL your politicians to STOP making this worse.

Landmark win for taxpayers. The Alberta government is amending the existing Taxpayer Protection Act to require a referendum to be held before the government would be permitted to raise personal or business taxes. 🎞️⬇️

Pardon? “Extremist Traveller” sounds like someone who base jumps in Rome & hang-glides the Grand Canyon. These people left Canada to join a death cult bent on world domination & now they want to “come home” at taxpayers expense. What a bizarre situation.

Environment Canada says we need a #CarbonTax of $100 per tonne to meet Paris 2030 targets. @JustinTrudeau says Canada will meet them. That'll cost an extra $26 to fill up your pick up truck. That's a roast beef & potatoes. Fill up once a week? That's an extra $1,352 per year.

If #carbontax gets jacked up to $100 per ton, that adds to cost of gas by 22 cents/litre & diesel by 27 cents/litre. It’ll cost an extra $16 to fill a minivan, extra $26 dollars to fill a gas pickup, extra $49 to fill a diesel super duty pickup truck.

Whoa. Creepy woke outfits. Looks like they’re made of nylon, polyester & other oil products. Machine made. So are the wigs and the make-up. All shipped from China? That’s like a PETA protester chewing on a chicken wing, telling you you’re gonna die if you don’t go vegan.

Why does Quebec get a special deal on the carbon tax? Quebec: ⛽️ 13¢ /litre of gasoline Rest of Canada: ⛽️ 17¢ /litre of gasoline What gives? Solution isn’t to make Quebec folks pay more, the solution is to SCRAP THE CARBON TAX for everyone! We put that on a T-shirt!…

This is complete B.S. and Jenni knows it. They are looking for some to blame for a bad week. The govt is providing a labour tax credit to employers. It’s indirect and applies broadly. One of the organizations who has lobbied the most for this, is the National Post/PostMedia.

This evening's announcement of a suspension of the fuel tax in Alberta is good news folks who rely on diesel... which is pretty much everyone who eats food & uses stuff! The tax suspension saves 13 cents per litre of diesel. That saves about $120 per big rig truck fill up.
