I just got a call asking to help get someone into detox. It took me less than ten minutes to make the connection and get the green light to send the man. I don’t say this to brag. I say this so people know there are options and detox IS available same day even the same hour.

Sadly, the City of Burien added to this toll last night. A man overdosed in the City Hall/Library bathroom. We continue to have the County Executive and County Sheriff not enforce any of our public camping laws, leading to continued deaths on the street.
