I'm a 3d animator, specializing in 1st person! Mostly reloading virtual guns but I have lots of fun with hands doing other cool stuff!
Little bts for the singing kunai draw! It started off as a quick idea in exploration, assuming it would probably stay in blocking. But it quickly grew to be one of my most collaborative animations so far! Very stoked to incorporate signing into viewmodel, its the perfect medium!
Finished revolver set! Summer of spinning hehe. Had lots of fun doing the flick on the speed loader, it was another opportunity to incorporate particles in the animation process (shells hand keyed though bc i dont want to deal with rigid body stuff)

Universal Mythic Melee Cosmetic that has no gameplay abilities and can be equipped in place of your heirloom or fists.
The sword will not be added to the Mythic Shop after the event ends.

The way your weapon in First Person (1p) takes up screen space sets the tone and its worth your time to find the right pose for your project
idk if anyone caught it when i posted it but I put two easter eggs in this animation. 512 is kinda typed into this keypad here (assuming its a 3x3 button pad). and the light has a morse code message when elster runs down the hall. i think it was "ive been waiting for you"
Viewmodel life hack!. For reference that feels really "game" like with arm perspective and captures head/camera motion.
Holes are cut where I can adjust for zoom, video, slomo, photo. Also being on the phone it helps a bunch with viewing takes and iterating.
With the event closing hereโs a small reel of the buster sword anims! Itโs always a challenge animating something heavy but needing to be quick for gameplay ๐ also did some heavy attacks and door melees

but fr the reloads of cod4/mw2 and bf3 have such a nice efficient flow to them that I want to emulate. Especially super simple camera motions.

Got into games 2 years ago after an 8 year anim hiatus. Got busy with going to uni, worked in food service dishwashing/barista; 2 healthcare as a COVID tester and GI tech. Long journey but we here we queerโ๏ธ ๐ณ๏ธโโง๏ธ
