To Christians who promote every conspiracy theory (QAnon, mark of beast in vaccines, etc.): you are actually part of a grander, demonic conspiracy: so that after you have cried wolf too often, no one will believe you when REAL trouble comes. 🙁

Although Aramaic and Greek were dominant spoken languages in Galilee and Judea, Hebrew was the HOLY language. Yet the tongues at Pentecost showed that God has sanctified ALL languages as vehicles for His gospel. May we join together across all languages and cultures to exalt Him!

I believe the verses used to support a pretribulational rapture are all out of context, though I know many disagree. But a more fundamental issue for all our hearts: we should be far more eager for Jesus's return than afraid of any suffering that might precede it.

Many religions have some good ideas, but only the Jesus message declares a God who loves us to the extent of becoming one of us and dying for us. When I was once an atheist, I thought that was too good to be true. Now that I know him, I marvel at such amazing love.

We don’t reinstitute first-century slavery (as in Eph 6:5-8) to submit to authority today; neither need we reinstitute first-century hierarchical marriage forms tin 5:22-23. Mutual submission frames the instructions (5:21; 6:9); the Lord calls ALL to serve (Gal 5:13).

The Bible says that God is near the lowly but far from the proud. Historically, revivals have come especially among the lowly, who are desperate for God. The world and our country are experiencing chaos. What better time to humble ourselves and seek God's face?

Salvation is not only from sin’s penalty, but from sin (alignment against God). Faith is not merely passive assent, but loyal trust. Where Christianity is popular, merely statistical Christians flourish, but where faith is costly, Christians already get the point.

The precursors of modern Judaism in Jesus’s day were especially Hillelite Pharisees. Hillelites had more in common with Jesus’s teaching (which continued the spirit of earlier prophets) than with the Sadducees, who got him executed. Don't blame Judaism for Jesus's execution!
