It was a bold experiment in attempting to replace an interesting story or discernible plot or relatable characters with Acting but I think turned out sort or meh. Like the thing about Golden Age great films is they had scripts

Speaking of threads though, phantom thread is flawless. I prefer the master, but I can't name one fault with phantom thread. It's good and nice.
