Just spoke to an educated and proud Jewish woman living in LA. She had not heard of the Jersey City Shooting or the Monsey Machete Attack. These incidents were not covered as widely as they should have been. If Jewish blood is cheap, Hasidic Jewish blood is the cheapest.

Someone from another minority group referred to people in his group living all over the world as “the diaspora.”The idea of a diaspora being something that you choose, as opposed to something that was forced on you, that the Jewish people endured, was a totally new concept to me.
