Yesterday my first BBC feature was published. I spoke to three Sri Lankan women on the challenges they and Sri Lankans less fortunate than themselves are facing. All three women spoke of how the protests have united the country in way never seen before.

I went back to my old school as part of the BBC’s Share Your Story careers tour.
