after reading some patrick wolfe i will say - the attempt to redefine 'indigenous' as just a relation to colonialism/settler colonialism is disingenuous, and actively ethno-national at worst. the relationship boils down to the fact that the indigenous population was there first .

The context for this is that Gadhafi in the early stages of his rule, seized all Jewish property in Libya, destroyed Jewish cemeteries to make way for Apartment buildings, and his official mouthpiece newspaper declared that Jews were the eternal enemies of the Libyan people.
