This was annoying me that somebody could be so pedantic and pathetic in their attempts to critique and I looked it up and creep has been used as a noun since at least 1486. Nothing pisses me off more than people who are sanctimonious/snarky and also completely wrong
My wife is watching MANHUNT on AppleTV, a miniseries about the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. Patton Oswalt's character just called John Wilkes Booth a "creep," in case you were wondering exactly how much work went into faithfully recreating the language of 1865.
Heidecker getting on Ozempic and getting what looks like a real tan for On Cinema is so good lol. I love when comedians damage their bodies/put themselves at risk for comedy (not joking, we should all aspire to such commitment to the bit)
Gone Girl is very easy to understand. It’s about how beautiful BPD women are worth everything they put you through and you should be lucky to have her hand even if she tried to ruin your life/kill you a little bit
While I think The Killer is more about how his audience didn’t really internalize the message of Fight Club, I think you could make the same read with how people took the wrong messages away from Gone Girl.
I've seen a lot of posts circulating, blaming environmentalists or "Greenies" for the fires because they "stop backburning". For what it's worth, I asked an RFS Deputy Captain today whether that was true. He told me "it's a load of crap".

The Flash
Look I’m sorry guys but I actually liked it quite a bit. It’s got an actual story, it’s about something. Characters have growth. It’s fun and funny and, apart from the desert fight and the snow fight, it pretty much looks like a real movie. Ezra is great.
Wow actually watching this for the first time. Australian journalists I think are actually, not joking, not being hyperbolic, the dumbest cohort of journalists in the entire world. It’s really impressive.
> see guy that’s insanely ripped
> google his height
> two inches shorter than me
> manlet, disregard results
> I’d look like that if I had to fit all my muscles on that tiny little body too
A couple from uni that got married are clearly divorced because she’s posting like POV shots of the beach with captions that say “nobody can disturb the peace of a soul replenished by nature” and he’s posting gym selfies that say “next chapter starts NOW”
MENTAL HEALTH TIP: Every evening you should meticulously review your day and think about all the ways in which you are malformed/evil and should be altered
Sometimes people do deserve anxiety and depression. It’s not like a chemical imbalance, it’s just that your human brain is unable to handle your evil soul.
Scott Morrison battled ‘debilitating and agonising’ anxiety during his time as prime minister and says without medication could have fallen into deep depression, he has revealed for the first time.
For my international fans, this is a mythical figure from Australian folklore, a sort of antipodean Saint Nicholas, a charming, ruddy figure who delivers asbestos to the grateful children of the country

Why? They didn’t go to hospital because he realised it was someone fucking with him but he would’ve been justified in going if he was a little more anxious. Like he did get a letter with fake anthrax to which him and his family were exposed. That’s the bit that’s important
I know we’ve been over this but Pete Davidson is attractive, tall, funny and is packing heat. He also seems really chill apart from the suicidal depression. It’s confusing to me why his ability to pull is confusing to others.
“If you give money to homeless people they’ll just spend it on booze and drugs”
Brother my life is 1000 times easier than being homeless but guess what I’m doing
I’m not the guy who should decide this but I feel the traditional rainbow flag conveys the same thing and looks way better and is obviously extremely iconic. This is getting a bit much in my opinion.

Because I think there’s a difference between embellishing truthfulness within the confines of art (especially art which we KNOW is embellished truth/outright false) and him testifying as to his actual life
Finally got around to watching
@ManMadeMoon
's Mute. The poor reviews I think killed my hype for it at the time. Lesson learned though, the movie is incredible. I literally can't understand the reception it got. Highly recommend checking it out if you missed it earlier this year.

There’s a second part where he addresses it and it basically did happen. Was getting death threats, midnight phone calls, Saudi bots all over his socials. Ended up having a full time security guard and then he got a letter with fake anthrax that he opened right next to his kid
Gf and I agreed I’d mow the lawns and she’d vacuum the house anyway she got this stupid thing which I hate and also this feels like cheating on the chore split
Secret mass graves from within living memory. It’s not just one event from “hundreds of years ago”. It’s a successive series of policies over the entire history of this country that, until recently, were DESIGNED to remove an entire people. Genocide, in other words.
“The referendum has become like the Voldemort of Australian politics” is immediately an all time horrible line. Look at the state of our political analysis bro, this country is doomed.
More than 60 years after her death, legendary French singer Edith Piaf will come to life in a new biopic that will use AI to recreate her voice and image.
Warner Music Group has partnered with Piaf’s estate for the 90-minute film "Edith." Details here:

That would equal $29473 per year salary. Which would mean you would need 6.2x your salary to afford the 1990 median house valued at $184,000.
Median wage today is $65,000. Median house price in Sydney is 1.2 million. That means you'd need 18.46x your salary. Simple math Gussy.
