Hot tip from a mom of 5 boys, 4 of them in their teens. Feed them meat & eggs. It will save you a ton of $ in the long run. A plate piled with bacon & eggs will last hours longer than the 5 bowls of cereal & so called energy bars they’re gonna reach for otherwise & it’s cheaper

@Stopnconsider Too many homeschoolers fall into the trap of copying the very practices that have failed in public school. Packaged curriculum can be such a waste. Workbooks are fine to practice spelling, grammar, cursive, and math which need repetition. Just read good books and get on w/ life!

Of the 145 black bears that have been taken in CA so far this season, 2 were by our teenage sons, 1 with a bow, 1 with a rifle. McEntee boys out there doing their part keeping the wildlife population healthy and balanced and our family freezer full.

Celebrating our 25th Anniversary with a view of the hill Tom proposed to me on and remembering our favorite wedding moment when our families gathered around us and our fathers prayed for our marriage. So thankful how faithful God has been in answering those prayers.

Our 18 year old moved to Montana this morning to join his brother in Bozeman. Our 14 year old is convinced he should be allowed to go too cuz theres plenty of work up there. My mothering motto thus far has been to get out of their way but good grief someones gotta slow this train
