The summer before I left for college I was working for a local farmer and really wanted a raise. I didn’t get a raise. Instead, he let me take his power washer home every weekend for free. I could make all the money I wanted but I had to go earn it. Learned a lot from that man.

Just passed a guy in southern Iowa using an MFWD John Deere 4630 on a 12 row black machine planter. 3020 w/ hiniker cab and M&W gravity wagon as a seed tender. His coffee is blacker, Marlboro reds stronger, and AC/DC louder than any of ours. Probably 70 with 2 paid for sections

Mushroom popcorn seed-left Yellow butterfly popcorn-right. Mushroom is preferred by kettle corn companies. It looks like a brain and holds the carmel/kettle coating better. Butterfly is preferred by movie theatres. It expands 38x and fills a bag quickly with fewer kernels

For those who have run high speed disks- how do you get them to not hop? I have tried shallow, deep, 4.5mph-8.5mph. Putting stuff in float, in constant, etc. cannot get it to make the ground smooth. Feels like you’re going over giant speed bumps when you drive back across it.

6/ I’m adding a 6th one STOP DRINKING ALCOHOL If you cant completely cut it out, cut it in half. Then a month from now, halve it again. I’m a year and a half sober, cold turkey. I’m not exaggerating when I tell you I was drinking 3-4 fifths of whiskey a week. Just do it.
