Thankyou to
@LDComics
for inviting me to talk

about my graphic novels and zines last night, and thanks to the lovely audience for making it a special evening 🐳
@stormrobinson
I'm a gay man and I'm queer so you really shouldn't assume you speak for all gay/LGBTQ+ people! We reclaimed the word, it was a slur, we took it back and we use it.
@EraicLyrios
What I object to is straight men taking "inspiration" from Haring, i.e. making busy rhythmic space-filling patterns, with zero commentary and absolutely no queerness in sight.
@willniedmann
I'm 6'4" and I never thought I'd live to see my existence so sensitively and unflinchingly depicted in mainstream cinema. Thankyou for giving me my first experience of dignity. This is my The Whale.
😶🌫️It's HERE! My new adults-only 80 page graphic novel has been cooking up for 16 months and is finally ready to preorder from 😶🌫️ with some Limited Editions still available if you're quick...

I couldn't handle the tension. What if she beat Beyoncé? She'd have to learn all the steps and the words and take her place on the tour.

Children can regenerate lost fingertips and severed nerves too, can't they? Lil miracles. But can they use the kettle to make a cup of tea and bring it to you at 8.45am? Can they bollocks.
I'm finishing volume 2 of a graphic novel about the gay chemsex scene in London. Tap here 4 timelapse insta reels & buy vol 1 here: Follow me for updates, & support independent queer culture in all forms, it can't exist without you.
@SVPhillimore
I started to realise I was queer around 10 years old, through dreams, noticing things, feeling emotions. Under section 28 no positive role models were allowed so it was a very private, lonely process. But hey Sarah, you'd know more about it than every gay person.
When I was 19 an ex made a scene at my workspace and outed me, hacked my email and web logins, attacked me in the street and forced his way into my flat. When the police found out I was gay they laughed it off and said they couldn't do anything to help unless I was dead.
In the wake of the murders of four young, gay men, today I asked the Govt to launch an urgent public inquiry to consider if the Met police is institutionally homophobic. Three of these deaths were preventable were it not for police failures. Action must be taken.

This is pretty wild! And it's brave, powerful, honest, raw. But it's a wild ride too. It would be all these things if it was a quiet and teary monologue but the disjunct between content and presentation is a little dizzying at first. Glad this person is doing OK and sharing this.
Finishing off some exclusive pen and ink pinups for

I always refuse to give a straight (lol) answer to that question. I'm as masc/fem as I want to be, and it's totally subjective, and I'm not going to contribute to this narrow and unhelpful attitude.
@duncanyoung68
What a jubilant act of trans power. Funny, liberating, sexy, sweet - everything terfs want to take away from the LGBTQIA+ family. And never will!
Prince Charles called for action on the climate crisis and says he has spent 50 years "trying to raise awareness."
Charles and his wife have a carbon footprint 96x higher than the average person — releasing 430+ tonnes of CO2 per year, mostly with private jets and helicopters.
@mufseen
London just got a new LGBTQ+ sober space called The Common Press, at The Glass House, top of Brick Lane. It's wicked, great coffee, podcasting studios, performance/meeting space in basement. Support that!
@KatyMontgomerie
Perhaps before they had a global platform and the confidence that millions of sales creates, we sinply didn't know their opinions. Fame convinces some ppl that they must be right about everything- bc everyone applauds when they speak. Then one day that first "booo!" rings out...
Yes, regrettably, if you let people study the arts they have an unfortunate tendency to value free expression, diversity, the environment, all that hogwash.
@WMT_TM
Allegedly she preferred gay staff because they wouldn't seduce the princesses. And she created the role of Queen Mother, literally just announced she was a big deal and people had to make mugs with her face on and invite her to open new leisure centres and point at stuff.

Stop calling me unhinged in the videos I'm imagining where you don't share my frothing rage about a fictional space creature's genitalia!!!
