We have worked with @Ecofil3 to install an outdoor contactless bottle refilling machine in Howth, the first of its kind in Europe. The bottle fillers provide users with non-contact clean and safe water without the risk of touching high-use buttons. Malahide is next on the list.

The EIRE 6 Wartime Neutrality Sign on East Mountain at Howth Head has been restored by a dedicated band of volunteers and there was a special ceremony today to mark the completion of the works which was attended by @PresidentIRL and @MayorofFingal . It looks stunning from the air.

Cycling's never been more popular. We're installing bike racks at car parks in Balscadden & Summit, Howth, and Low Rock, Portmarnock/Malahide. 400 bike racks are on order with 1/3 due this month to be installed based on suggestions from FCC staff, Councillors, and the public.

Unfortunately just 2 hours after reopening on Wednesday, the public toilets in Ward River Valley Park were vandalised again and are now closed. Access to public loos are a necessity for many people and this persistent destruction presents a terrible introduction for people

All roads across Fingal are clear as of 18:40 this evening. There was a 90 minute window late this afternoon which enabled our crews to get out and start clearing fallen trees and branches from roads. These pictures are from the Howth Malahide Operational Area. #Ophelia

Our #ActiveTravel team has been installing Fingal's first bike bunkers in Balbriggan this month. Providing secure, covered bike parking for people living in apartments is just one way we're working to make the choice to cycle easier. Bunkers are available to Barnwall residents.
