Our little miracle Isla Hope Hannah Gilmartin born a week ago today. You were worth the wait our darling little rainbow 🌈 After multiple losses & then failed IVF - we could not feel more lucky and grateful for this little strawberry blonde haired girl. 💜

My amazing father Gordon Harry Brooks passed away peacefully this morning 💔. This was the last photo I took of him as we enjoyed the sunshine together last week. He was a legend & I was lucky to be his daughter. Taking some time away to be with my family ❤️ love you, Dad xx

My dad’s care home is receiving the vaccine on Saturday. Unfortunately, my lovely father caught #covid19 on New Years’ Day. 😔 just hope he’s going to fight this, like he’s fought everything else. 🙏❤️ Indebted to the incredible care home staff looking after him & updating us.

My Dad is in hospital again with pneumonia & because he was in isolation at his care home & he's confused - we haven't been able to see him/speak to him in 2 wks. Mum told Dr to tell him we love him & are thinking of him all the time. This whole situation is really bloody hard 💔

Very hard 💔 seeing your parent move into a nursing home. The first wasn't right for a million reasons but we've managed to find Dad one with a south facing bedroom overlooking the garden. And he can watch birds and monk jacks from his window. I hope he'll be happy here ❤️

So relieved Dad will leave hospital in the next few days. We are beyond lucky & grateful to the #NHS & care home staff that's he's still here. Very sadly though at least 6 residents (half of the total residents) in his care home have passed away 💔😥. #COVID19 is so cruel

My dad is my hero. We thought we had lost him again last weekend when he had to have his second leg amputated. Less than a week later he's back at his care home having a beer with my brother in the sunshine. He never gives up. 💜

Just finished 6 weeks of counselling via @UofGlasgow 's free @pamassist service to help look after my #mentalhealth incl after recurrent #miscarriage . So helpful - really recommend to anyone in #TeamUofG if you need someone to listen/help you with coping strategies. ❤️

Finished writing the first interview for my fertility/baby loss podcast 🎙️. So pleased this is finally happening. It's supporting me in the healing process and hoping it'll help others to feel less alone. So many brave & inspiring stories to tell - planned for the first series.

Snowy walks to clear the head ❄️ Nothing better than blue skies and fresh crunchy snow. Thank you for all the good wishes 🙏. Dad is in hospital now (treated in an ambulance for hours because the poor Norfolk hospitals are swamped). Thanks to #NHSheroes for all they're doing 💙

So, it's not even the end of January and so far in 2021: My dad has been gravely ill with Covid, my husband has had skin cancer (thankfully caught early and all taken away) and we've had a 5th miscarriage 💔. No more 2021, you're breaking me.
