Wetsueten members and elected leaders have been trying to be heard for years. Outsiders and the NDP refused to listen to them and instead, ignored and insulted them. Shameful

NDP logic; fire BC healthcare workers who don’t get the vaccine shot to protect patients. Also NDP logic: we’re sending 10,000 cancer patients to Washington where there is no vaccine mandate for healthcare workers Health care worker shortage/crisis?

Road and rail blockades springing up across the country in recent weeks may seem like spontaneous reactions to current events – but organizers have been laying the blueprint for this kind of co-ordinated national action for a long time.

The energy crisis will be here for a long time. I agree with the supply and demand issue regarding gasoline and diesel in that we should be looking at increased capacity at BC refineries or even building new to reduce our dependency on outside jurisdictions

Throughout my investigations into safer supply, I’ve found that the healthcare professionals who oppose it most strongly tend to have lived experience with addiction, or have close family members who have. They viscerally understand what’s at stake with bad government policies.

This is crazy. The “settler” impact is what my elders talked about in terms of canneries and Forts where Aboriginals would travel to for trade and work. Of course there were bad stories, but there were good stories too. Add to the history, don’t erase it

Coming from a reserve, i could see how much an economy (lack of) matters to quality of life in todays day and age. We shouldn’t have to experiment with shutting down BC/Canada, when Venezuela has shown what happens already.
