My first first-author paper is out! Here, we show that parent anxiety links stress and children's behavior problems, and parent, not child, stressors influence children's behavior. Feels particularly timely considering our increasingly stressful world.

But the mental health field also likely offers sense making tools!

3/ from Chenchen Dai: higher maternal SNS = less sensitivity, and Tianying Cai: lower PNS and SNS activity = less controlling behaviors. Together, maybe arousal of SNS leads to more active behaviors to cope, at cost of attunement to others?
