DOCTOR Bouman is amazing and enthusiastic, and clear and concise. I love it! Also, why does everyone refer to her as simply "Katie Bouman"? (FYI-- She has a Ph.D.!!!!!)
Katie Bouman led the creation of an algorithm that helped capture the first ever image of a black hole. We asked her what this breakthrough means for science. For more reaction from other scientists, visit our YouTube channel:

For folks studying "brain age", how do you deal with variations in image quality? I didn't want to find this, but in the NKI-RS dataset, I see a solid association (r=-.3) between brainAge (and BrainPAD) and image quality

Which types of stress are associated with accelerated biological aging? Comparing perceived stress, stressful life events, childhood adversity, and posttraumatic stress disorder.
I had a moment of feeling overwhelmed and stressed today... and then got word that a manuscript was finally accepted. I say this not as a humble (or veiled) brag... but in a legit "this SUCKS... but now, it's ok". Academia is a wild emotional ride sometimes.
