90 days free from the prison that is drug addiction. It’s 90 miracles! 3 months ago the ONLY thing I could think about was heroin-the getting and using and finding ways and means to get more. I don’t have to live that way today and I never have to use again. SO grateful for NA!!

Today is my birthday and I am in a TON of pain from a dry socket. The pain is very triggering esp bc 800mg ibuprofen doesn’t even make a dent in it. I have a dentist appt at 2 so hopefully they can help. I’m not going to use today though! This pain will pass eventually. HBD TO ME

So the new “exceptions” to TN’s abortion ban use this wording.. “A WOMAN who is 12 or under may have an abortion up to 10 weeks after the first day of her last menstrual cycle.” Same for a “woman”of 13 or older but she only gets 8 weeks. I could cry. #ForcedBirthState

Had a root extraction done yesterday and she tried to send me home with pain meds but I told her that I suffer from substance use disorder and i couldn’t have any narcotics. It turns out that ibuprofen works wonders when you’re not doing heroin everyday! Who knew?! 😂😂😂

I am on suboxone & i disagree w/ any1 who says I’m not clean. I look at it like a nicotine patch-it may technically be an opiate but one is FAR better than the other. Harm reduction saves lives,it helps reduce the cravings and has a normalizing effect. I will continue to take 1/3

Before in active addiction vs now clean. There’s not a huge difference but I can see it. In the second pic there is a light in my eyes that I hadn’t had for years and way less crazy eyes lol. Also, without all my $$ going to drugs there’s money for Botox again! WE DO RECOVER 🫶🏼🫶🏼

Ppl who say maintenance meds mean you aren’t clean are usually ppl who have never gone thru heroin withdrawals. I equate it to the nicotine patch, neither is great for you but 1 is WAY better than the other. Suboxone has saved my life, and if u judge me for taking it-f*ck off 🖕🏻

I’ve overdosed too many times to count but 1 of the most serious times I took what I thought to be a Xanax at the wheel & OD’d & crashed my car. Thank god I didn’t hurt anyone else but it was basically pure fentanyl in a Xanax bar form. It’s no joke out there! 190 days clean 2day

So our @AGTennessee says that throwing out unused IVF embryos doesn’t violate the “Human Protection Act” even though it explicitly states in the bill that “Life begins at conception.” The only difference bw an embryo in a Petri dish and an embryo in a uterus is a WOMAN. 1/2

I got another job offer, its more permanent but it’s also 50/hrs wkly which wouldn’t leave time for many meetings. It would also require monthly overnights/traveling with the family & what would I do with my dog? Idk it just doesn’t feel right and I think god is telling me to NO
