The older i get the less judgemental I get. Life is complex and right or wrong largely lives on a scale that's personal to each individual. I thus now give people a lot of grace, try to see them for the human they are and meet them where they are at.

A guy in his 30s woke up with chest pain. His partner drove him to hospital and on the way there he passed out and was on death's door. Ambulance was called, CPR started. His heart stopped 13 times and was restarted each time. He was saved from his heart attack.

Young people these days seem to optimize for a 'soft life' too early in their career. You're in your twenties, just got out of Uni, sorry to break it to you but if you're not doing 15 hour days across work and personal learning, you're not working hard enough.

If you have a heart attack today, the biggest predictor of your survival is where you have it. A Nigerian cardiologist in the U.S had one while visiting Nigeria, he died. An elderly retired grandpa had one while visiting his son in the Uk, he survived. Systems trump everything.

India's richest man built a 4G network and gave away calls and data for free for 3 months. Cost him $32 billion to build but that has now been paid off by investors like Facebook and Google. Nigeria's richest man is building a refinery.

We joke too much in this country. Remember when Kebbi and Lagos made noise about Lake rice. Well turns out the thing no dey market again. When asked why, the Kebbi state governor said they did it to ginger people that Nigerians can produce good rice.

We're at a stopover airport and the young lady has called all her extended family and friends. They're all so excited it's awesome. She's dancing and waving on video calls it's so cool. I'm jealous, I want to be excited about traveling like this. I do it so much it's drudgery.

Saw this somewhere: "Puff Puff was a cheap snack until it linked itself with Spring rolls, Samosa, and Chicken laps, then it became a member of the elite "Small Chops Family"" For me, this speaks to the power of bundling.
