One thing HIV, COVID, & Lyme have in common? Latency. A period when you (generally) recover from flu-like initial illness & feel ok. Weeks, to months, to years later is when problems often begin. Ppl don’t seem to be aware of this & it’s THE MOST IMPORTANT THING to know.

Fam friend got covid from neighbor who needed help getting up stairs. Neighbor tested + next day. Fam friend got sick soon after. Doc said, “Don’t worry. Stay home 5 days & then go back to work in a mask. Any mask is 👍🏼.” She did, & infected 4 colleagues. Thx, @CDCDirector !

My friend called w severe laryngitis. I joked that she must’ve seen @taylorswift13 & screamed at the top of her lungs. No, she said. Just v sick for 2 weeks w “same bad cold” her husband’s had for 2+ weeks. Both w fever & bad cough. Were u ever this sick w a cold?? I wasn’t.
