By criticising doctors’ study leave, Mail on Sunday clearly doesn’t understand the value of post-grad education. I used study leave to go to Germany & Holland to learn how to do stereotactic radiotherapy. Our 5yr survival for lung cancer now matches major international centres

As a Consultant I find it disgusting how General Practice is treated by the media. It has been an amazing part of the NHS since it’s inception, but the lack of understanding of what GPs actually do is appalling. Funding cuts are destroying GPs and the nation will sorely regret it

An NHS #ContactTracingApp will be essential to helping us contain #COVID19 and minimise the risks of future waves of the disease. However, any such App must have the absolute trust of the public. Thus, awarding the #NHSApp contract to a politically biased firm is a grave error.
