Found a book from a Gullane-era writer that talks about their time on Thomas, and there are a few things about the production I thought were interesting: During S6, management hired students to write on the cheap, and with 2 weeks to filming, only 15 "scripts" were done. (1/3)

Hearing Annie's and Clarabel's original models in Sir Topham Hatt's Holiday were "old" and could be "smartened up" as an excuse to make new models for them, was a very clever tie-in on the production team's behalf. What a clever send off to the original models.
