A great honour to receive my OAM yesterday. While I respect and admire the
@VicGovernor
, the crowns all over the medal and wording of certificate are a reminder that it’s time for Australia to become a reconciled republic. Sovereignty was never ceded. Always was, always will be.
Why is
@PeterDutton_MP
allowed to get up and say things that are actually just plain wrong? Where have all the journalists gone? Whether you are for or against the Voice, surely we all want our elected MPs to tell the truth. A kindergarten child would get scolded for lying. 😳
#SusanRyan
wrote this on the death of Hawke: “The giant tree has fallen. Perhaps now we should ask ourselves what Australia would be like if we had never had Bob Hawke as our prime minister. Such an Australia is to me unthinkable.” The same can and should be said of Susan. RIP 💜
On this day: Captain James Cook died and Marion Mahoney Griffin was born. Over 100 statues of Cook in Aus and $50m earmarked by the Member for Cook
@ScottMorrisonMP
for Kurnell revamp. Zero statues of women in Canberra, the national capital MMG co-designed. Just saying. 🤔
So freaking proud to be a part of this. Let's go Australia. We have the chance to turn the pages over...
