We are all facing significant financial challenges due to the current economic climate. We thought we’d provide you with an updated infographic detailing our monthly outgoings as a club. The challenge we face in keeping our club open to serve the community is frighteningly real.
We are delighted to announce that we have secured funding from both the
@WelshRugbyUnion
and
@sportwales
that enables us to buy and install a new set of LED lights. These lights will lower our costs and future proof us for another 54 years (existing lights installed in 1969!).
Disappointed to turn up at the club tonight to find five boys in the stand vandalising the seating. Anyone who knows these please DM us as the police are visiting tomorrow to take a copy of the CCTV. It would be nice to have some names for them to knock some doors
Guys a big thank you goes out to anyone that supported the Owen Bennett Just Giving Page or supported the Memorial Match held at the Club. The Just Giving raised a total of £6346.48 (after fees) and the memorial game raised £7100. With this money we are paying all of the funeral
A few images of Owen taken during the team photoshoot last year with
@alxmls
and
@Rothfink
. Owen couldn’t stop laughing throughout the shoot so it took us a while to get the final smouldering shot that you have all seen. Sums Owen up to be honest - all smiles! 💚
Devastating news for our club last night to hear that Anthony Williams passed away unexpectedly yesterday. Anthony was a key player in the team that climbed the divisions with Caerphilly. Our sincere condolences go out to Joanna, Nick and Thomas at this devastating time 💚

As a club felt it was time to communicate on our finances. We have pulled together a quick infographic to explain our tumultuous and stressful journey as a club over the last two years. It’s been really tough two years but through working as a team we have come a long way.
With no local rugby being played or club bookings many clubs are struggling to survive. Wherever you are in Wales this weekend pop into your local club for a couple of socially distanced pints. You're sure to get a warm welcome and will be helping them get through this crisis
As a rugby club just coming out of another National lockdown, we thought we should share some information with you regarding the precarious and unsustainable financial position we are currently in due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It’s with great sadness that we announce the death of Colin (Jack) Marlin. Colin has been a true stalwart and ever present part of the club for 60 years. From 1962 Colin played at the club and then volunteered as our fixture secretary for over 25 years.
