21 up, 21 down. Sophia Bordi pitches a perfect game with 16 Ks and Haddon Heights wins the Group 2 state title over Jefferson 30-. It was Bordi’s 4th perfect game of the postseason.
Woodbury defeats Riverside 40-8. Scores on kickoff return, punt return and INT return and doesn’t run a single offensive play in second half which I don’t think I’ve ever seen before.
Scary moment where Camden Catholic's Sammy Spaulding was dropped on his head and neck area in his third-place match. He was down for about 10 minutes but stood up with assistance. While he left on a stretcher with a neck brace, he gave a thumbs up signal and smiled.
2-out rally in the top of the 7th. Blanchard RBI single, double error and Molly Skelly floats a single to right to score 2. Sterling somewhat improbably takes a 3-2 lead over Weat Deptford.
Aly Reim diving catch ends it. Delran beats Northern Burlington 4-2. Clinches the always difficult Burlington County Scholastic League Liberty Division.
Delran's Drew Roskos with a huge 5-2 win over Delbarton's freshman Gabe Logan at 150. Fought off a TD, then came out on top in a 50-50 position to seal the deal. He'll face SJR's Zach Ballante, who defeated Delsea's Jamar Dixon, 4-0.
Excited for public school sectional softball finals to be back on Saturday this year. Hoping for some diversity of times like a 10, 1 and 4 so softball players, coaches and fans (and reporters) can see more than 1 game.
Delran's Drew Roskos finishes great career with 3rd-place finish at 150 pounds, beating Delbarton freshman Gabe Logan for the 2nd time in as many days, 3-2. Roskos celebrated with a back flip. He'll play soccer at Bucknell but if so inclined could certainly wrestle in college.
Hanging out in Collingswood today for the Dan Trainer Duals. First-round matchups Hopewell Valley vs. Gloucester; Warren Hills vs. Upper Darby; Cherry Hill West vs. Woodstown; Highland vs. Collingswood.
Drexel getting it done. Brian Bonino with a last-second takedown wins 3-2 at 184 in his NCAA debut. Here's a feature on Bonino from last week

Madalena Creo does it again! 2-out, 2-run HR in top of 7th. Gives Notre Dame a 2-0 lead over Haddon Heights. Homered off Donovan Catholic’s Julia Apostolakos last week. Now has one off Sophia Bordi:
