Wow, what a morning! A whopping 1,600 athletes today with 70 amazing volunteers. Jake Wightman was our first finisher in a brilliant time of 14:52, and we had a host of milestones, including mum Janet 5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ and daughter Izzy 2️⃣5️⃣0️⃣🌲🎅⛄🥳

After an early morning course check, we were green for go. 1,008 of you ran, jogged or walked the butterfly course in the freezing conditions. 66 lovely volunteers braved the cold 👏👏❄️❄️. Results are in!!
In light of the recent announcement by parkrun, following the sad passing of Her Majesty The Queen, Bushy parkrun plans to take place tomorrow, and we will pay our respects to Her Majesty with a minute's silence before the event.
945 athletes experienced one of the warmest parkruns ever at Bushy. 57 lovely volunteers clapped, cheered and sipped water. Results are in! 54 people got PBs!😲🤩🥳
We had a full complement of 68 volunteers this week, ably assisted by a contingent of the military from the Kingston-based London Guards. Everything went like clockwork for the 1,154 athletes. Results are in 🤩💂🤩

I hope everyone is looking forward to Christmas Day at Bushy. We had over 2,000 people last year so it WILL be busy! Please walk, cycle or carshare if possible. Also, there will be a long queue in the funnel to get a token - please don't duck out as it messes up everyone's time.
We have undertaken an early inspection of the course and we plan to go ahead tomorrow. Forecast temp is -1°C at 9am but sunny 🌞. As ever, please be mindful that some parts of the course may be slipper than usual ❄️❄️. A further course check will take place tomorrow.

Numbers were a little down this week, with 1,048 braving the slippery, damp conditions in the Park. Hats off to the 65 volunteers who made it all possible in that weather 🙏👏☔🌧️
This week there will be a couple of changes you might notice. For the first time we're going to have a Bag Drop near the finish. Secondly, we're going to move the finish funnel to avoid compaction of the roots of the big oak. It's all for the lovely trees! See you all Saturday

Please join us on Saturday to celebrate International Women's Day. We are organising a team of all-women volunteers, including pacers from 20-35 minutes. We aim to inspire women from our local community to take part.

Wowee! 1,675 of you made it round Bushy parkrun this morning, ably supported by 66 wonderful volunteers 🙏🥳. There was a slight issue with the funnel letter T, so you may find that your time is slightly awry if you were around 29 or 30 minutes.
