It’s a huge oversight in what could have been a powerful moment & the white folks aren’t equipped to correct her

@KekePalmer @JoyOfodu Instead of being positive 24/7 (which can unintentionally be dismissive) it’s ironically much more high vibrational to make space for ppl to feel their feelings - even the negative ones - and support them while they work through all the lessons that discomfort can teach them.
