Here’s a trick for senior residents in training programs that no one will tell you... try putting a retractor in each of your attending’s hands -most will just grab and start retracting without thinking. Boom now you’re the one doing the case.

Giant cell tumor of tendon sheath. Similar genetically to PVNS it can be locally aggressive. Marginal excision is recommended treatment with local recurrence risk thought to be 10-20%

This honker is called an os peroneum and it’s totally normal. It sits in the peroneous longus tendon and usually is harmless. Often misdiagnosed as an avulsion fracture. #MedTwitter
