Congratulations to Senior Running Back Caleb Grimes who has been voted the 804 Sports/RTD Player of the week for his outstanding display this past week helping the Cadets to a 48-7 victory over Bishop O'Connell. Cadet Grimes had 13 carries on the day for 157 yards and 3 TD's!

Ryan Hall has resigned his position as athletic director and head wrestling coach at Benedictine College Preparatory in order to accept the position of athletic director at Mayville State University, in Mayville, ND.
Scott Schaefer named top educator...Schaefer was named one of the top educators in the diocese at a recent ceremony. Schaefer was selected as the central Virginia Educator of the Year. A Benedictine graduate, he is an IB MYP language and literature teacher at St. Mary. Congrats!
At halftime of Saturday night’s basketball game, Benedictine’s All-State football players were announced.
The Cadets had a whopping 12 players honored, including three who were named to the state’s First Team. Congratulations to all of our dozen honorees!

The Cadets sweep VES in today’s triple header! Freshmen, JV and Varsity get big wins and the student section showed why they are the best around! The Cadets travel to Collegiate tomorrow for a River Road Showdown!
In the season opener at Cape Henry, the Varsity Boys’ Lacrosse team trailed by 4 goals with 6 minutes to play, but came back to tie it up and win in overtime! What a way to start the year!
Coach Hall accepts a team wrestling gift for another great season! A friend of a parent, an Air Force veteran and owner of a business producing stained glass in Arlington, VA, made it. There will be another one that will be on display during the Boxing Smoker this weekend.
