Many who died in the Irish “famine” were found with green stains in their mouths, having eaten grass and nettles in a desperate measure to mute their hunger. And now we watch another forced famine, where desperation is leading to people eating grass.

None of us have a magic 8 ball telling us if we are one of the lucky or unlucky ones. Many of us don’t even know if we are vulnerable or not already. Or even if we were before. Given what we don’t know and what we do know, it makes sense for everyone to protect themselves.

Having trouble finding the right words since you were infected? That’s Long Covid. That ‘brain fog’ you have felt since ‘getting better’ after Covid? That’s brain damage and yes, it is a symptom of Long Covid. And all of these symptoms can get worse if you get Covid again.

Wouldn’t it be nice to see the people promoting blood clot education wearing masks during an ongoing pandemic that CAUSES BLOOD CLOTS. I know, I know, that’s too much to ask.

@RealGayArbys They are also making a mistake in assuming caretakers will be available. Who will the caretakers be? It's us. The ones masking to maintain our physical and cognitive health to the best of our abilities.

Maybe before you think I’m a conspiracy theorist about vaccines, look at my profile and see what I tweet about. 🤷‍♀️
