I wouldn’t normally come to X with this, but my 2-day old baby is currently in surgery at UK. Long story short, he has a rare (1 in 5,000) birth defect. It’s not considered life threatening but must be fixed to have a normal life. Success rate is 90%. Appreciate any prayers.

Update: surgery completed with 100% success. The red on his face is just a reaction to surgical tape. He is breathing on his own and doing great (no ventilator required). It feels like this is the first good news we’ve had in like 72 hours so it’s such a blessing. 🙏

I don't understand how any Kentucky fan watched that game tonight and isn't absolutely ecstatic. Yes, they let off the gas a bit, but it's hard to give max effort when you're up 30 for most of the game. I haven't been this excited about a team's potential for years.

Look who decided to bust out of bed just 24 hours after a 2-hour surgery! This afternoon he will eat for the first time in his young life. The surgery was successful, his digestive system is working and God is good. 🙏 So thankful for the folks at UK NICU.

I know I’m in the minority (possibly even alone), but I am not concerned at all about the Kentucky mens basketball program. I think Calipari is the man for the job and I believe in his staff. I know it’s been a tough stretch, but I have faith in things being better soon.
