My parents went bankrupt over my Dad's terminal cancer with no health insurance and he was only 59 ... no Medicare and no Medicaid I do not believe that folks should die for lack of wealth. I do not believe that rich folks should have an advantage in terms of life expectancy.

I graduated from high school in 1967 with a 1A draft rating (long before the lottery) - I enlisted in the Navy. I served 1967 - 1973. NEVER did anyone talk to me about my service let alone express any kind of appreciation or empathy (including family). I freaking remember. Rt
