@jojohook2003 Jo, I assume it’s a coincidence: I read Ivor’s letter out at the commemoration service on Ginkel Heath on Saturday. It won a prize in Tatler magazine in 1946 as one of the most poignant letters of the war. It is a crushing testimonial to our fallen. @TheParachuteReg @PRA_Airborne

@thinkdefence With King Charles is that great photo is General Sir Geoffrey Howlett, who sadly passed away only a few months ago. He won an MC in the jungles of Malaya; parachuted into Egypt during the Suez Crisis; and became Commander-in-Chief Allied Forces Northern Europe. A true hero.

@silvanadifinizi Silvana, Lee haas now come out of intensive care and is being moved to a long term rehabilitation units. He has major injuries to his pelvis and legs and clearly has a long, long way to go. He is currently in a wheelchair for all movement. Thank you for your concern, Andy
