Wrong. Raya means king or the one who has authority over subjects. रामराया is used by so many saints in their Abhang for ShreeRam Shiv-raay means Chh. Shivaji Maharaj. Another derived word राऊ- again same meaning. In a way Raya similar to Ayya in Telugu.
