0/ Remote work isn't exceptional as companies that are spread around multiple offices have done it for the last many years. The special sauce is communicating asynchronously as the default 💡 Here's a thread about why.

$433M money raised, and a $5.6bn valuation happened. Postman needs to do a lot more than request inspection to justify this. For these numbers to make any sense, they would need to do $1bn+ in ARR for a freaking API client utility... Looking around, there are so many companies…

The biggest problem with Notion isn’t the service itself but its success criteria. They have raised $343M on a $10bn valuation. The only way they will be successful is to have over $1bn in ARR. They are probably below $100M now. The pressure to deliver this is probably why they…

Async communication is a simple concept: you send a message without expecting an immediate response. The surprising thing is the side-effects of async if you make it the default communication. Here are some core learnings we've done at Doist in the last 8 years 🧵

In 2019, we received 9,249 applications across all our openings and added 9 people to our team (or 0.1%). There is a lot of demand for remote jobs, but not enough supply. The bottom line is we need more remote companies, especially remote-first.

We at Doist have for years talked about doing our take on note/knowledge management. So tempting to YOLO and commit to this 🙈 Maybe in 2021/2022.

This podcast between @ShaneAParrish and Jim Collins is 🤯. It's felt like the core ideas of Jim's books and 30+ years of research condensed into a 2-hour conversation. Core topics are leadership, building great businesses that last, and luck.

For Todoist’s upcoming big release, the thing I am most proud of isn’t necessarily the new features, but that we improved some of the things that are used the most, and we made them better and more delightful. E.g., check out the details in the new Quick Add. 🎩-tip to team.

I haven't lived in Denmark for ~10 years, but I didn't hesitate to base my new personal holding company in Denmark. Why? Because Denmark accepted my family and me as refugees, gave us another life, and gave me an excellent and free education. I will forever be grateful. 🇩🇰
