With rise in fossil fuel prices we need to fasten the pace of transition towards electric vehicles. I have been using a #MakeInIndia EV vehicle - Tata Nexon EV . It’s smooth, comfortable, no battery charge anxiety & cost of ownership is cheaper than combustion cars. Move to EVs.

India has become a global manufacturing hub for PPEs and ventilators. When lockdown was announced, India was not producing any PPE kits. Now, India is producing 600,000 PPE kits and 1,000 ventilators daily. We will now shortly be exporting ventilators, masks, PPE. (5/6)

Phenomenal ! UPI recorded 2.3 billion transactions worth ₹ 4.3 trillion in Jan 2021. On a YOY basis, UPIs transaction value jumped 76.5 % while transaction value jumped nearly 100%. Took UPI 3 years to cross 1 billion transactions a month. Next billion came in less than a year.

My resolve: I will not touch plastic from today. Plastic items take up to 1000 years to decompose in landfills. Plastic bags we use in our everyday life take 10-1000 years to decompose, while plastic bottles can take 450 years or more.

Gr8 ! Indore does a 100% door to door waste collection & has GPS based monitoring of Garbage vehicles. Indore has constructed 10 roads utilising polythene. 5 MT of Biomedical waste is collected 4 an incinerator of 300 kg/hr. A waste 2 energy plant of 20 MW is under construction.

Bengaluru’s success story: Compared to other metros cases per million in Bengaluru are extremely low. For every confirmed case they traced 47 contacts. In Delhi it is just 2.1. Karnataka has also done large scale testing of patients with influenza like symptoms(SARI & ILI) Gr8!

Big move: Giving a major impetus to Electric Vehicle mobility Govt has approved installation of 2600 EV charging stations in 62 cities under FAME -2. Atleat one charging station will be available in a grid of 4 KM *4 km. This would remove range anxiety.

I have been involved in 7 different elections. Best thing was the switchover from ballot to EVMs.Ballot paper led to fraudulent voting,booth capturing & manual counting.EVM technology has led to fairer elections. EVMs have system checks,protocols r tamper proof & can’t be hacked.

Water guzzling crops like sugarcane & paddy being grown in Mah & Punjab use lakhs of litres of water per hectare.All sugarcane grown in Mah is on irrigated water.Punjab uses 3.5 times the water than Bihar for 1 kg of rice. We export 10 trillion of water for export of basmati rice

Leapfrogging Digital Payments in India: UPI with 18 Billion transactions annually has surpassed Amex at 8 Billion. Amex,Visa and MasterCard are all decades old,but a 5 year old UPI has overtaken Amex & will definitely surpass Visa & MasterCard over the course of the next 3 years.

UPI volume grew 80 % from 1.14 billion transactions in October 2019 to 2.07 billion transactions last month. The transaction value jumped 101 %. In 4 years of its existence, it has double the no of transactions that American Express has globally – something which took 4 decades.

12 days ago, only 4.7% of all those tested were found +ve. Some people incorrectly argued that low testing was to blame. Now, 12 days later when testing has increased by over 100% and 40k tests/day are taking place, our +ve detection rate is even lower, just 4.1%. Good news👍
