It'll be floating around in the wine and you can't recork it but if you plan to drink the whole bottle that's OK. (my trick as a guy who used to travel for work a lot)

When I realized I didn't have enough cash to pay the tire man the taxi man drove me back to Half Moon, the nearest ATM to draw cash then back to the tire shop. Taxis can be aggressive yes but they can be some of the most courteous drivers on the road too when you need them! 4/4

Got my first dose of the AstraZeneca vaccine today. All in all one of the best organized events i have ever seen. I went to get mine at the Olynpic Gardens health clinic today; they had made a last minute decision this morning to do all the vaccines at National Arena instead. 1/

@WinnieMakensi If you're open to moving you should think about the oil sands in northern Alberta, Canada. They have trouble recruiting enough people within Canada who are willing to move there and so they sponsor foreign workers and may even give you a relocation package if they like you.

@MaxBoot @lynngr We've had just 10 deaths in Jamaica with 3 million population, and no lockdown here either. Jamaica's approach: contact tracing, mandatory use of masks in public, social distancing, no events, nightly curfews, and mandatory hand sanitization everytime you walk into any store!

One thing I find very strange in the IT world is software companies grouping Jamaica and other Caribbean islands with Latin America for sales and support. Jamaica speaks English, not Spanish, and has more in common with the US and Canada than Latin America! 😖

@yaneekpage If you do business in USD the trick is to have a USD account: you deposit the cash into the USD account at par, then later you use online banking to move the $ to your JMD account, which will go through at the "cheque" rate. 😉

I helped T to make a basic business plan: identify where she'd buy the ice cream, how she'd market it, how much she'll sell it for, etc. Sent T the seed capital yesterday, her small business is up and running today and exceeding expectations! I'm very proud of her! 👍🎉🍦 3/3
