If Kaprizov doesn’t win the Calder after both Anthony Edwards and Justin Jefferson got snubbed for rookie of the year awards I’m suing sports. All of it. The whole damn thing.
SURPRISE 🎉
I’ll be in the booth all season long as the color analyst for
@PWHL_Minnesota
home games at the Xcel Energy Center.
You can watch on
@BallySportsNOR
. Tune in so you don’t miss any moments in what will be a historic year for women’s hockey.
Minnesota, wow I’m so proud of my home state. 🥹
13,316 fans in attendance today. That number breaks the WORLD RECORD for attendance at a pro women’s hockey game.
They don’t call it the State of Hockey for nothing. Keep bringing that energy and passion all season long.
I’m obsessed with the fact that this Winter Classic is going to be the coldest one in history. We’re really about to show the hockey world how outdoor hockey is done here in Minnesota.
The pandemic left me unemployed on two separate occasions, including my job with the Minnesota Wild Radio Network. Part of the devastation that came with that was not knowing if I’d ever get the job back. But I did. This season I’m back with my hometown team. The dream lives on.
Me to my last table of the night: I’m not trying to rush you but I’m really trying to go home and watch the Wild game
My table: omg yes we’ll pay, go Wild, thanks for being honest with us
They tipped me 40 bucks on an 80 dollar tab and told me to hurry up and get home 😂
23 years ago my family spent Christmas in the hospital as my sister battled for her life against E-coli. We ate cold leftover pizza for Christmas dinner. Every year since, my parents have made sure the PICU families at Children’s Hospital have a warm meal on Christmas.
After dying on the Kaprizov for Calder hill last season I have decided to spend the rest of this season dying on the Boldy for Calder hill who’s ready to fight.
Since the
@PHF
announced this morning that all games for the season will be broadcasted on
@ESPNPlus
I suppose it’s time to also announce that I will be one of the broadcasters bringing all of you the games.
So SO excited for more hockey on my schedule this season.
Cam Talbot has been pretty damn exceptional in this series. I know win or lose game seven people are only gonna talk about Fleury but what Talbot has done to keep this team in this series hasn’t gone unnoticed.
I suppose it’s time to officially share that...I’ll be heading to Florida next week to remotely broadcast games for the
@NWHL
season! Extremely thrilled & thankful to be back for another season and to connect with the fans who make this job so fun. Hockey season here I come 🏒
Some Badger fan behind me yelled at me to sit down after I booed a horrible PI call against the Gophers. So naturally I stayed standing for the rest of the Wisconsin drive so she couldn’t see.
I take this picture every single year…
This is at noon.
On a weekday.
For a Quarterfinal.
Of a high school game.
…and there are 18,000 people packed into the building.

Awesome news from the
@NWHL
this morning: due to a record setting amount of sponsorships last season, the salary cap will be doubled for season seven.
Fantastic job by the league for this step in the right direction and shoutout to the sponsors who helped make it happen.
I’ve been lucky enough to be involved in three yrs of Hockey Day Minnesota. Each year is exciting but this one is extra special as I will be doing play-by-play for a pro hockey team (
@WhitecapsHockey
) on this Minnesotan holiday. Something I’ve dreamed of doing since I was a kid.
When I was a kid I always dreamed of living in downtown St. Paul and working for the Minnesota Wild and walking to work. I’m literally doing that at age 26 now. Life is crazy haha.
I’ve waitressed for four years. Today I got so overwhelmed by how busy it was and was the only server working. Went back into the kitchen & just sobbed. Then saw this note a table left for me. Made my day. Be kind to servers. Be patient. We are humans too and trying our best.
I just wanted to say thank you to all who texted, messaged, or commented on my posts today expressing your excitement & support over the news of me broadcasting PWHL games. You guys blew up my phone & made me tear up seeing all your kind words. Thank you thank you thank you 🫶🏼🥹
Getting ready to broadcast my FIRST ever football game. This wasn’t a sport I was passionate about until I became an adult so I have spent a lot of time the last few years working hard to understand the sport well enough to broadcast it. Here we go!!
A) driving the slot
B) slash strips him of the puck
C) directly leads to a rush that results in a goal the other way
These are the kind of no calls that are maddening.
Before the NFL season started I bet my boyfriend $100 the Lions would win more games than the Packers. He was like you’re crazy. I said in that case make it $500. Guess who’s $500 richer today. THIS CRAZY LADY.
First day vs last day of the
@PHF
season. The amount of messages I got tonight from people watching on ESPN was overwhelming in the best way possible. Lots of long days, early flights, & being away from home all to get to this point. Thanks for the love today everyone 🥺
Today Bruce Boudreau was back at the restaurant I work at. I told him that it’s “so gosh dang hot out” and he said “gosh dang” is the most Minnesotan phrase he’s ever heard.
There should be a “I literally just want gas” option at gas pumps in the winter. No I don’t want a car wash. Stop asking me so many questions. It’s cold out here.
I think Nic Deslauriers might be a new fan favorite. The fans let him hear it on SEVERAL occasions tonight. Including when he came out to the ice after being named the third star of the game.
Thank you fans for tuning in all regular season long on
@BallySportsNOR
& for any who shared kind words with me about our broadcasts. As far as the regular season is concerned that’s a wrap for us. It has truly been a treat to be a part of this historic first season in the PWHL.
I’m sitting on the deck in a swimsuit eating pizza and my sister is doing a workout on the patio with her boyfriend over FaceTime. There’s two types of people.
The Vikings didn’t make the playoffs this year but watching the Lions in the NFC championship is basically the same experience as watching the Vikings would have been.
I still get emotional every time I walk through the doors of the X. Working for your hometown team never gets old. Another season of hockey with the Minnesota Wild Radio Network starts tonight.
Leaving the X today I heard so many fans talking about breaking the attendance record, the star players of the game, the environment. My heart is so full. What a day. Well done
@thepwhlofficial
let’s keep the good times rolling.
So
@ZachHalverson
and I have been together for most of the last 24 hours. Think we’re sick of each other yet? One last thing on the docket for today: calling a high school hockey game. Long day but lots of fun.
My boyfriend and I had dinner with his neighbor tonight. And his neighbor asked what I do for work and I was like oh I work in sports and my boyfriend goes “by the way I’m sorry if you hear her screaming during Wild games” ☠️☠️
All the people on my shuttle from the airport to the hotel are arguing about who’s traveling from the coldest state. I waited for everyone to stop talking then said “I’m from Minnesota what’s my prize”.
For the last three years I’ve lived in the heart of St. Paul and walked into work on Wild game days. I move out in a little over a month. This is by far going to be one of the things I miss the most so I’m soaking up every minute while I can.
I literally cannot watch the Bruce Boudreau press conference video floating around Twitter cuz I’m already so sad for him. He deserves to be treated with respect. He loves the game so much.
