As a photographer how do you pick your best shot of the year. It's virtually impossible. I've chosen this one from the 2018 final between Tranmere & Boreham Wood. I was right at the centre of a highly charged and emotional afternoon. Quite unbelievable atmosphere.

Last year it was my privileged to cover the Vanarama Big Day Out 4. Eight months on i'm still coming to terms with what the win meant to Tranmere fans. I get requests for shots daily. I originally issued 476 shots. I'm now working on a second link of previously unseen shots.

In 2018 my shots from Tranmeres win saw over 1,000,000 hits on the photographs. The club and fans couldn't get enough of an historic day. The shots were used everywhere. @TranmereRovers had no issues about using them yet they are in a minority. Anyone care to explain?

What can you say about a club whose fans still keep in touch with you nearly two years after a match you covered and offer you free tickets and hospitality. Tranmere fans really are amazing. If only both clubs could go through on Thursday!

As a photographer capturing the important moment sometimes needs determination. You might not always get the clearest shot but capturing it is paramount. When I took this shot my cameras were saturated and I was drenched. Such an important moment for the Tranmere manager.

When I took up photography in 2014 the only people who encouraged me were @WealdstoneFC , @Vanarama & the National League.The @EFL and DataCo actively block people like me. I'm so proud to have progressed & taken my shots to clubs like @Tranmere_Trust @HUFCMail
