I don't want to learn a new weird language to be able to write smartcontracts for your zk rollup layer. This paradigm that blockchain projects do where they come up with brand new languages is limiting dev adoption. Why not just write an interpreter to javascript for example?

Nigerian banks have always been protected by regulations. But now that we have a small level playing field, we can see the results. I’m super bearish on the ability of banks in Nigeria to compete against neobanks. They just can’t compete.

I talk less about payments in Nigeria as I have been away for over 3 years but a lot has happened since. This current cash fiasco made me see numbers regularly that we used to see only in December. Everyday is Christmas now for fintech in local payments as bank infra collapsed.
