And dude I grew up in Brazil and Colombia. I’ve walked real sketchy shit before. Doesn’t even compare.

Fair enough, though it’s only one area of the city. It’s awful and embarrassing, but far from an accurate representation of 95% of the rest of SF. One reason that not much is done about it is that most SF residents can easily ignore it.

My son was visiting this weekend from Sacramento and drove through the city after dropping his gf off in North Beach on his way over to the other side of SF. He told me what he witnessed en route and was quite concerned with the condition of this place. He was born & raised here.

Agreed, From the UK and SF was without a doubt the worst place I recently visited. I’d go so far as to say it’s an utter unsafe sh*thole compared to Chicago and NYC! Shame, but it’s true. Tourists will come once, not twice and tell everyone to avoid.
